Friday, 10/3/58 ad, for Pro Football Hi Lites, with Glenn Davis, sponsored by Du Pont

Monday, 10/6/58 ad, for "Lucy Goes to Mexico" on Desilu Playhouse, with Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance, William Frawley and Maurice Chevalier. It was sponsored by Westinghouse.

Friday,10/10/58 ad, for All-Star Golf, featuring Bill Casper, Jr. and Peter Thompson and sponsored by Miller High Life.

Saturday, 10/11/58 ad, for Perry Mason, starring Raymond Burr. It was sponsored by Mutual of Omaha insurance, available locally through the Rush Kirkham Agency.

Sunday, 10/12/58 Sports Section ad for Sea Hunt, starring Lloyd Bridges and sponsored by Mercury Outboard Motors, availaible at Mainline Distributors.

Monday, 10/13/58 political ad for Mike Disalle's Citizens' Press Conference.

Wednesday, 10/8/58 ad, for "Alaska--The Last Frontier" on High Adventure with Lowell Thomas, on CBS. No Toledo station carried it but it was on Detroit's WJBK-TV, Channel 2. The show was sponsored by United Motors Systems / Delco.

And there are three additions to The Blade Peach Section Gallery 1:

Three "On The Beam" items by Ray Oviatt, two from Wednesday, 10/1/58 and one from Thursday, 10/2/58. The top item was about The Toledo Orchestra on WMHE-FM from the Peristyle of the Toledo Museum of Art. The other items were about the carraige of The Lawrence Welk Show in "stereo" via TV coverage on Detroit's WXYZ-TV, Channel 7 and radio coverage on Toledo's WTOL-AM.

Thursday, 10/2/58 "TV Key Preview" of the Leave it to Beaver episode, "Beaver's Poem," and a publicity picture of Jerry Mathers. The show was carried on WXYZ-TV, Channel 7.

Saturday, 10/4/58 picture of Buddy Holly and the Crickets, publicizing their upcoming appearance in Toledo at the Sports Arena. This was less than four months before Buddy Holly died.
