January 15, 2017: Its Only Logical Home

There are ten more ads today, from the August 14-20 & 21-27 issues of TV Guide Magazine, and from August 16 & 18-20, 1999 editions of The Blade. There are two additions, in color, from TV Guide, to the PAX gallery, the first page of a four-page fold-out ad (...It's premiere week! PAX 2000...) followed by pages 2-4, for Destination Stardom, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Twice in a Lifetime, It's a Miracle, and Little Men. A larger version of the second ad can be found here. There are also two additions, from Peach Sections in The Blade, to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Thursday, 8/19/99 ad for Star Trek, with Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner, on Sci-Fi Channel (...its only logical home...), and a Friday, 8/20/99 ad for Turner Classic Movies' Summer of Darkness. Next are two additions, also from Peach Sections in The Blade, to the ToledoVision 5 gallery, both for their baseball coverage. There are two side-by-side Monday, 8/16/99 ads, for a Toledo Mud Hens game, against the Indianapolis Indians, and six Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds games. There's also a Wednesday, 8/18/99 ad, for the Mud Hens-Indians game (See the NEW Buckeye CableSystem Technology on Display...). The last three ads today are additions, from TV Guide, to the Vintage Cable Ads gallery. There are two Monday, 8/16/99 ads for programs on Lifetime, the first ad for the series premiere of Beyond Chance, "Night Caller," hosted by Melissa Etheridge, followed by the second ad, for the movie, "The Price of a Broken Heart," with Laura Innes and Park Overall. There's also a full-page color ad for WWF SummerSlam, on pay-per-view (Jesse Ventura). More ads, from the August 21-27, 1999 issue of TV Guide Magazine, and from the online archives of The Toledo Blade, are on the way...
