There are twelve more ads today, from the June 7-13, 1997 issue of TV Guide Magazine and from June 7-13, 1997 issues of The Blade, plus one Random Pages gallery addition, a Monday, 6/9/97 Blade Peach Section story by Chris Borrelli, "Student's Actions Lead to Lesson in Media Attention." There are four additions, all Blade ads, to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery starting with a Saturday, 6/7/97 ad for "Independence Day" on HBO. Next is a Sunday, 6/8/97 full-page TV Week ad for WWF King of the Ring on Impulse Entertainment, the movie "Pronto," part of Showtime's free preview weekend, The Golf Channel, one of Buckeye's "SelectChannels," and "The Shawshank Redemption" on TNT. There's also another TV Week ad, for The Sound and the Fury: Holyfield vs. Tyson II on Impulse Entertainment. The ad also announced a contest to win tickets to the June 28th. fight in Las Vegas. By the way, this was the fight where Tyson was disqualified for biting Holyfield's ear. And there's a Tuesday, 6/10/97 ad for Viva Variety on Comedy Central. There's one addition to the ToledoVision 5 gallery, a Sunday, 6/8/97 TV Week ad with TV5's Weekly Highlights: "Heidi," the special, 25 Years of Scandals, and "Accidental Tourist" (William Hurt, Kathleen Turner). There are four additions, all TV Guide ads, to the Vintage Cable Ads gallery starting with a Saturday, 6/7/97 ad for Showtime's free preview weekend which featured the movies "Goldeneye," "Dead Man Walking," and "Jumanji." Next is a Saturday, 6/7/97 full-page ad for the series premiere of HBO's Perversions of Science, which consisted of three episodes, "Dream of Doom," "Anatomy Lesson" and "Boxed In." followed by a Thursday, 6/12/97 full-page ad and close-up description for the sixth annual MTV Movie Awards hosted by Mike Myers. There's also a Friday, 6/13/97 ad for The Movie Channel's free preview weekend which featured the movies "Biodome" and "The American President." There are three additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery starting with a Monday, 6/9/97 TV Guide ad for Bill Cosby's appearance at the Allen County Fair. Next is a Friday, 6/13/97 full-page ad in The Blade which announced the winner of the "Name the Tiger Contest," won by Michaele A. Critchley who picked the name, "Nakisha." The contest was sponsored by Kroger, Coca-Cola, Enron and of course, The Toledo Zoo. There's a 6/13/97 Peach Section ad for the Toledo Zoo, too (Everybody's Zooing It).
