There are eleven more ads today, alll from January 1949 editions of The Blade, including five additions to the Channel 13 gallery. There's a Wednesday, 1/19/49 ad, in the Peach Section, for Arthur Godfrey and His Friends, sponsored by Chesterfield Cigarettes. Next is a Saturday, 1/22/49 ad, also in the Peach Section, for sponsor Carl Weissenberger Chevrolet, followed by a Sunday, 1/27/49 ad, in the Features Section, for the Philco Television Playhouse production of "Pride and Prejudice" with Madge Evans. There's also a Thursday, 1/27/49 ad, in the Peach Section, for "General Motors' Thrilling Spectatcle," Transportation Unlimited, followed by a Friday, 1/28/49 ad, in the Peach Section, for Telesports Digest, sponsored by Toledo Television Corp. There are five additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, too. The first one is a Wednesday, 1/19/49 ad, for Music by Tommy Lloyd on WTOD-AM, sponsored by Olney Markets. Next is a Thursday, 1/20/49 ad, for Red Skelton and Janet Blair in "The Fuller Brush Man" on Star Guild Theater, aponsored by Camel Cigarettes, on WSPD-AM. There's also a Sunday, 1/23/49 ad, in the Features Section, for Rex Harrison in "Journey's End" on Theatre Guild on the Air, sponsored by United States Steel, on WTOL-AM. next is a Thursday, 1/27/49 ad, for Screen Guild Players Cornel Wilde and Claire Trevor in "Walls of Jericho," sponsored by Camel Cigarettes, on WSPD-AM. And there's a Saturday, 1/29/49 ad, for The Sports Album with Don Miller and Bob Krieghoff, sponsored by Lownsbury Chevrolet, on WTOL-AM. Today's last ad is an addition to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Sunday, 1/23/49 ad, in the Features Section, for an appearance by Bob Hope at Toledo's Sports Arena. Others at the show included Doris Day, Les Brown and his Orchestra, Bill Farrell, Irene Ryan (Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies) and Hy Averbach.
