There are 15 more July 1948 ads today, from pages of The Blade. There are two additions to the Channel 13 gallery, a Wednesday, 7/21/48 ad for one of their sponsors, Fremont Rubber Tile, and a Wednesday, 7/28/48 ad for their broadcasts of at-home Toledo Mud Hens baseball games, sponsored by Lee Motors, "Toledo's Friendly Ford Dealer." There are five additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, starting with a Wednesday, 7/21/48 ad for Mr. Chameleon on WJR-AM (Action! Intrigue! Suspense!). Next is another 7/21/48 ad, for The Adventures of the Thin Man on WSPD-AM, sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer. There's also a Thursday, 7/22/48 ad for Camera Holiday on WTOL-AM, sponsored by Gross Photo Mart, followed by a Saturday, 7/24/48 ad for WTOD-AM's Barn Dance from Hickory Park. And there's a Tuesday, 7/27/48 ad for The Edison Music Hour with Art Barrie on WSPD-AM. There are eight additions to the Other Vintage ads gallery, starting with a Wednesday, 7/21/48 ad for "The Street With No Name" at the Paramount Theatre, followed by a Thursday, 7/22/48 ad for "Water Follies of 1948" at the Toledo Sports Arena. Next is another 7/22/48 ad, for "Coroner Creek" and "Love from a Stranger" at the Rivoli Theatre, followed by a Saturday, 7/24/48 ad for Eddie Church and his Orchestra, at Toledo's Trianon Ballroom. There's also a Monday, 7/26/48 ad for Hallicrafters push button television receivers at Lasalle's, followed by another 7/26/48 ad, for RCA Victor television sets at Grinnell's. Prices ranged from $325 to $595. There's one more 7/25/48 ad, for Pepsi-Cola (No finer cola in any bottle!), followed by a Thursday, 7/29/48 ad, for "Dream Girl," starring Betty Hutton and MacDonald Carey, at the Princess Theatre. The following week "Hatter's Cstle" with James Mason and Deborah Kerr would be shown.
