July 27, 2016: Going On Safari!

There are ten more ads today, from the July 10-16, 1999 issue of TV Guide Magazine (all in color) and from the Saturday, April 10, 1999 edition of The Blade. There are two additions, from TV Guide, to the FOX gallery, starting with page one of a three-page fold-out ad, inside the front cover, for the premiere of Family Guy, "I Never Met a Dead Man" (So a fat guy and a talking dog walk into a bar...), followed by pages two and three (Series Premiere!...Family Guy). There are three additions, all from the Saturday, 4/10/96 edition of The Blade, to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery starting with a full-page ad on page 26 for The Disney Channel (Buckeye CableSystem is Going on Safari with Disney Channel...Going Wild with Jeff Corwin). Next is a Peach Section ad for Sylvia Browne: Adventures of a Psychic, on Impulse Entertainment, followed by another Peach Section ad for "Titanic" on HBO. There are four additions, all full-page color ads from TV Guide, to the Vintage Cable Ads gallery, starting with three for The Century: America's Time with Peter Jennings, on History Channel. Ad one has WWI veteran, Winston Roche, followed by ad two with young boy scout Mickey Spillane, and ad three with former hostage, Barry Rosen. There's also a back cover ad for "Titanic" on HBO. Today's last ad, also from TV Guide, is an addition to the Other Vintage ads gallery. It's another full-page color ad, for Hershey's (Change is Bad).
