October 19, 2016: The Man Show: Oprahization

There are twelve more ads today, from the June 12-18, 1999 issue of TV Guide Magazine and from June 12, 14 & 17, 1999 editions of The Blade. The first two are additions, from TV Guide, to the FOX gallery. There's a Monday, 6/14/99 ad for That '70s Show, "Water Tower." Also included with the ad are the program listing and a "close-up." It's followed by a Tuesday, 6/15/99 ad for the special, From Star Wars to Star Wars: The Story of Industrial Light & Magic, hosted by Samuel L. Jackson. There's one addition, again from TV Guide, to the PBS gallery, a Monday, 6/14/99 ad for People's Century: 1900-1999. There's also one addition, from TV Guide, to the UPN gallery, a Monday, 6/14/99 full-page ad for the UPN premiere of the Canadian (CTV) series, Power Play, "Perambulate Me Back to My Habitual Abode." They only aired two episodes before cancelling it. There are three additions, from Peach Sections in The Blade, to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, starting with a Saturday, 6/12/99 ad for "The Little Mermaid" on the Disney Channel. Next is a Monday, 6/14/99 ad for The TNN Music City News Country Awards, hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, followed by a Thursday, 6/17/99 ad, for "The Country Girl" on AMC, with William Holden and Grace Kelly. There are four additions, from TV Guide, to the Vintage Cable Ads gallery, starting with a two-page color ad for Strangers with Candy, Upright Citizens Brigade, Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, Comedy Central Presents, South Park, the premiere of The Man Show, Bob and Margaret, and Vs. with Greg Proops, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and Win Ben Stein's Money (All new large type comedy premiere week, this week on Comedy Central). There's also a Monday, 6/14/99 ad for the Lifetime original movie, "Jackie's Back," followed by another one for Comedy Central, a Wednesday, 6/16/99 ad for South Park, "Jakovassaurs," The Man Show, "Oprahization," 30 Minutes of Beer Commercial Fun, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and Win Ben Stein's Money. Today's last ad is an addition, from TV Guide, to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a full-page color ad, on the back cover, for M&M's "Crispy" candy (Do not eat this new product!...The view's of the spokescandy do not represent those of the manufacturer).
