There are fifteen more "cable" ads today, from the July 12-18, 1997 issue of TV Guide Magazine and from July 14-18, 1997 issues of The Blade, starting with four additions (all Blade ads) to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery. There's a Monday, 7/14/97 ad for Court TV's On Appeal where the topic was the Supreme Court case about public school financing in Ohio. Next is a Wednesday, 7/16/97 ad for the sixth season premiere of MTV's The Real World, in Boston, followed by a Friday, 7/18/97 ad for The Regional All-Star Football Game on the Community Channel and another 7/18/97 ad for Jack Hannah's Animal Adventures on the Family Channel. There are two additions, also from The Blade, to the ToledoVision 5 gallery, a Tuesday, 7/15/97 ad for "Imagine: John Lennon" and a Friday, 7/18/97 ad for appearances by Kids' WB stars at July 18-20 Mud Hens games. The rest of today's ads (all from TV Guide) are additions to Vintage Cable Ads gallery starting with a Saturday, 7/12/97 ad and close-up description for "The Aristocats" which was followed by Movie Surfers, "Inside Disney's George of the Jungle" on the Disney Channel (Saturday PremEARS!). Next is 7/12/97 full-page ad and close-up description for the series premiere of HBO's Oz, "The Routine," followed by a Sunday, 7/13/97 ad (A&E Mystery Movie presents "A July to Die For"). Movies featured were "Agatha Christie's The Pale Horse," "Silent Witness," "Daniel and Pascoe," "Cracker" and "A Touch of Frost." There's also a 7/13/97 full-page ad and close-up description, for the series premiere of Showtime's Dead Man's Gun, "The Impostor" and "Buryin' Sam." Henry Winkler was executive producer of the series and appeared in the first episode. The next five are MTV ads (It's a Fresh Rerun-Free Summer at the 10 Spot).
