I added ten more ads today, from August and September 1987, plus seven more Random Pages gallery additions, from The Blade. The first five are Peach Secton stories by Tom Ensign, starting with a Friday, 8/14/87 story, “Local Broadcasters See Few Changes Under Scrapping Of Fairness Doctrine” and also includes several other TV items. Next is a Saturday, 8/22/87 story, “Ch. 11 Presents Provoking Documentary On Lake Erie,” followed by a Friday, 8/28/87 story, “Toledo's Fischer Up And Coming In L.A.,” about former Toledoans Bill Blinn and Frank Fischer. There's also a Tuesday, 9/1/87 story, “Buckeye To provide Daily Coverage Of Pope's Visit,” and a Friday, 9/4/87 item about the annual Jerry Lewis Telethon. There are two additions to the Buckeye CableSystem gallery, a Sunday, 8/30/87 ad for ESPN, new home of 13 NFL games, and a Saturday, 9/5/87 ad for The Dan Simrell Show on CableSystem channel 10B. There are two additions to the Radio Station Ads gallery, a Friday, 8/21/87 ad for a performance by George Carlin (and Judy Tenuta) at the Masonic Auditorium, sponsored by WIOT-FM, and a Monday, 9/7/87 ad for the Labor Day Weekend fireworks, sponsored by Reams Broadcasting (WCWA-AM & WIOT-FM). The last ad today is an addition to the Other Vintage ads gallery, a Thursday, 8/27/87 ad for the 22nd Annual German American Festival, at their new Oak Shade Grove location (“Ja' Das Goot Move!).
