I added 17 more ads today, from June and July, 1974, plus five more Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of the Blade. The first one is a Monday, 6/17/74 picture of Buckeye Cablevision's Tom Ponrick and Bishop John Donovan with the Gabriel Award, for the series, Sixth Grade Report. There's also a Wednesday, 6/19/74 story by Norman Dresser, "WMHE Will Cover Yacht Race" (see ad below), and a Saturday, 6/22/74 AP story, "'Kojak" Leads Nielsens Again As CBS Dominates Top 10." Next, is a Friday, 6/28/74 story by Charles Witbeck, "CBS To Give 60-Second History Lesson," about Bicentennial Minutes. There are three more Monday, 7/15/74 stories by Norman Dresser, "Cablevision Program Wins Legion Award," again about Sixth Grade Report, "CBC Takes Ch. 9 Ownership," and "Jac LeGoff To Leave Detroit's WJBK-TV" (for WXYZ-TV). There's one ad in the Channel 11 gallery, a Saturday, 6/29/74 ad for Answer America!, the Democratic National Telethon, on CBS. There are seven WGTE-TV 30 ads, in the PBS gallery, including a Monday, 6/17/74 ad for the PBS Special of the Week, "The Forgotten War." Next is a Saturday, 6/22/74 ad for the PBS special, Woman Alive! (Gloria Steinem, Lily Tomlin, Melissa Manchester) followed by a Monday, 6/24/74 ad for Straight Up, a discussion of the creative arts community. There are three ads for the channel 30 Tuesday night series, Zoo, sponsored by O-I, from the Toledo Zoo. There's a 7/2/74 ad for the premiere, a 7/9/74 ad for a show on hoofed animals, and a 7/23/74 ad for a show on reptiles. The last channel 30 ad is a Friday, 7/19/74 ad for their Summer Pledge Weekend. There are three in the Buckeye Cablevision Channel 5 gallery, two for movies. The first is a Sunday, 6/16/74 TV Tab ad for "The Long Ships" (Richard Widmark) and other films, followed by a Sunday, 6/30/74 TV Tab ad for "Virgin Island," "Clash by Night," "Rancho Notorius," "The Magic Box" and "Stage Struck." The other one is a Monday, 7/15/74 ad for their coverage of a Scrambles Race from Delta Motorsport Park. There are two more in the Radio Station Ads gallery, a Saturday, 6/22/74 ad for Mills Race Reports on WMHE-FM, and a Saturday, 7/20/74 ad for WTOD's Miss Lucas County Fair Contest (Queen contest). There are four more in the Other Vintage ads gallery. There's a Wednesday, 6/19/74 ad for Ronald McDonald Days at the Toledo Zoo, a Thursday, 6/20/74 ad for Columbia Gas, a Thursday, 6/27/74 ad for Mr. Pibb, and a Wednesday, 7/17/74 ad for Milk, with Davy.
