I added eighteen more ads today, all from November, 1979 plus four Random Pages gallery additions from Peach Sections of The Blade. The first three are all by Norman Dresser, including a Thursday, 11/15/79 story, “Public Radio Fund Drive Rated 'Rousing Success'.” Next is a Friday, 11/16/79 story, “New Technology Eclipsing Commercial TV” which also includes several other items about TV shows, followed by a Thursday, 11/22/79 story, “Another Channel Woos Detroit Weatherman,” about Sonny Eliot. And there's also a Wednesday, 11/28/79 story, “Brenda Krauss Takes Ch. 13 News Post.” There are three additions to the Channel 11 gallery, including a Monday, 11/19/79 full-page ad for The Ohio Lottery's new daily game, “The Number” which now has its nightly drawing on WTOL. There's also a Tuesday, 11/20/79 ad for Match Game, The Number and The Joker's Wild (Gene Rayburn, Jack Barry) and a Wednesday, 11/28/79 ad for “Inspector Clouseau” on The Big Show. There are two additions to the Channel 13 gallery both for weekend movies, a Saturday, 11/17/79 ad for “The Omega Man” and “Red Line 7000” and a Saturday, 11/24/79 ad for “Hannie Caulder” and “Summer of '42.” There's also an addition to the Channel 13 News gallery, a Friday, 11/30/79 ad for 13 Nightly News, saying goodbye to Jennifer Blome and welcoming Brenda Krauss. There are also four ads for 13 Nightly News in the News/Special Reports Ads gallery, among the nine additions to that gallery. There are two for the series of reports by Mike O'Mara, “Singles: The Bittersweet Life,” a Friday, 11/16/79 ad and a Wednesday, 11/21/79 ad. There are two more for the Phyllis Quail series of reports on “Energy,” a Friday, 11/23/79 ad and a Wednesday, 11/28/79 ad. The other five are for 24 Eyewitness News, three for a Larry Whatley series of “Eyewitness Close Up” reports on “The Mending of a Broken Heart,” a Wednesday, 11/14/79 ad, a Thursday, 11/15/79 ad and a Friday, 11/16/79 ad. The other two are for an Asa Smith series of "Eyewitness Close Up" reports on “Toledo's Men in Blue: A Day in the Life,” a Monday, 11/19/79 ad and a Tuesday, 11/20/79 ad. There are two additions to the PBS gallery, both for channel 30, a Wednesday, 11/28/79 ad for Great Performances, “The Human Voice” (Liv Ullmann) and a Friday, 11/30/79 ad for The Great Radio Comedians (Bob Hope).
